What Happens Next

After you get in touch

We reply within one working day. The first conversation is usually ten minutes on the phone to establish what the property is, what you are hoping to do and roughly when — enough to tell you whether we are the right people and what the project is likely to involve.

If it makes sense to go further, we survey the property. That is a proper measured survey rather than a walk-through, because it is what the price is built on. From it you receive a bill of quantities — every element of the work listed, quantified and rated — rather than a single number you cannot interrogate.

What is useful to send

Floor plans if you have them, the community or building name, and a few photographs of the areas you want to change. If you have quotations from anyone else, those are useful too — not to undercut them, but because the difference between two prices is almost always a difference in scope, and it is worth understanding before you choose.

If you are still deciding

There is no obligation in a survey and we would rather tell you a project is not worth doing than price it.
